 A HDPE Ferrule Tee fitting is normally assembled with HDPE clamp saddle fittings.
 
HDPE ferrule tee, also called HDPE ferrule valve, is a kind of fittings of "tapping saddle". The fittings include two parts: the ferrule tee body & metal cutter. The PP ferrule valve normally has a male thread in one end that can be connected to HDPE clamp saddle fittings. When the HDPE clamp saddle fittings connect to the main HDPE pipe, the install worker can screw down the metal cutter inside to tap a hole on the HDPE pipe to make a new branch outlets.
 
SUNPLAST HDPE Ferrule Tee fittings are available with a branch outlet 20mm/25mm/32mm, and with 1-1/4" BSP male thread, which can be connect to all sizes of HDPE clamp saddle with 1-1/4" female thread outlet.

A: Our PP clamp saddles are used to create quick single branch outlets with a nominal pressure of 16 bars; they are available from diameter 25 to 315mm with various female threaded outlets (from ½" to 6″).
Our HDPE clamp saddles are equipped with a NBR 70sh flat gasket that maximizes the diameter for a better containment of the pipe drilling area and have a flat extension to ensure sealing even under undesired overpressure. They also have the patented anti-rotation system: the innovative spiked insert keeps the clamp saddle blocked over time, preventing it from rotating and sliding, suitable for PE80 pipes & PE100 pipes.

A: HDPE clamp saddle are very easy to install, which involves the following steps:
• Define the position of the branch and clean the external surface of the pipe.
• Put the O-ring in the relevant seat and position the upper part of the saddle on the pipe.
• Couple the bottom part of the saddle with the upper one. Insert the bolts from the bottom, screw the nuts and tighten the bolts diagonally opposite each other.
• Drill a hole in the pipe taking care not to damage the reverse of the pipe or the gasket.
