Product Description

HDPE electrofusion 90 Degree Elbow is used to join two lengths of poly pipe on an angle of 90 degrees.
 
Electrofusion elbow fittings are made from PE100 material with a precisely molded energizing coil of wire, ensuring uniform melting for a strong electrofusion joint and the minimization of welding and cooling times. 90 degree elbow electrofusion fittings are suitable for use for HDPE pipe, and welded with an electrofusion pressure welder. Electrofusion elbow 90 degree PE fittings may also be known as an electrofusion elbow joiners or EF elbow pipe joiners.
 
Made by 100% PE100 material, SUNPLAST HDPE electrofusion elbow 90 degree can can be supplied in a diameter sizing from dn32~dn400mm in SDR11-PN16. SDR 11 electrofusion elbow 90 degree are rated to PN16 for water and PN10 for gas.
 
The electrofusion bend 90 degree fittings are injection molded in one time, and conform to ISO4427-3,EN12201-3, AS/NZS 4129, EN1555, EN ISO15494 standard (ISO4437-3 for gas)

HDPE Electro Fusion 90 Degree Elbow* Which SDR of HDPE fittings shall we use for the HDPE pipe in SDR13.6-PN12.5? Can we use the SDR17 fittings for our SDR13.6 pipe?
A: To guarantee the safety of piping system, the HDPE fittings shall be equal to or higher pressure rating than pipeline. So for HDPE pipe in SDR13.6, you shall take the fittings in SDR13.6 or SDR11. The fittings in SDR17 is not suitable for SDR13.6 pipeline.

* What kind of HDPE pipe fittings can SUNPLAST provide?
A: SUNPLAST is a integrated manufacturer & provider of HDPE fittings in China. We currently can provide three kind of fittings:
HDPE butt fusion fittings: available in a diameter ranging from 50mm to 800mm in SDR17 & SDR11
HDPE electrofusion fittings: available in sizes of 20mm to 630mm in SDR11 & SDR17
HDPE compression fittings: for small diameter 20mm to 110mm in PN16

* Can SUNPLAST provide HDPE fittings in PE80 material?
A: Yes, PE80 fittings are also possible to us.

* Can HDPE fittings made by PE100 material weld with pipes in PE80?
A: yes, they can be welded together. But, to achieve the best welding results, we recommend to weld PE80 pipes with PE80 fittings.

* Is HDPE end cap & HDPE pipe end the same thing?
A: yes, they are referring to the same products.

* Can HDPE fittings connect to PVC pipe? Or can HDPE fittings connect to PPR pipe?
A: For thermal plastic fittings, they can be connect to the pipes with same material grade only. So, for HDPE fittings, they can be connected to HDPE pipe only, but can't connect to PVC pipe or PPR pipe.

* How can we connect HDPE pipes to PVC pipes?
A: Since HDPE pipe & PVC pipe are made of different material grade, they are unable to connect together by "heat-fusion".

The possible way to connect them together is by flanged connection. To use HDPE flange adaptor & HDPE backup flanges to make it possible to connect to PVC flanges.

* Is SUNPLAST HDPE fittings UV resistant?
A: Yes, HDPE fittings are UV resistant and UV stable and will not structurally degrade from UV light. After a lengthy period of direct UV light contact, the external surface of the fittings change visually to a slightly waxy look, but this does not affect the performance and is removed by a rotary pipe scraper prior to electrofusion welding.

* What's the warranty can SUNPLAST provide?
A: All our HDPE fittings are made of virgin PE100 material, and are designed for 50 years lifetime. SUNPLAST will provide a warranty time in quality of 10 years for regular use.
