HDPE butt fusion fittings (also know as hdpe spigot fittings)are the most common fittings for HDPE pipeline that are processing with a "butt-fusion" welding technology by using special butt welding machine. To achieve a "butt-fusion", the fittings' outer diameter shall be exact same as pipeline. The HDPE butt fusion fittings normally typical types, like: end caps, reducers, 90 degree elbows, 45 degree elbows, 22.5 degree elbows, equal tees, reducing tees, flange adaptors, steel backing rings...etc.

* What standards do SUNPLAST HDPE fittings comply to?
A: SUNPLAST HDPE pipe fittings are originally made into our domestic standard GB/T13663 standard. The dimension & technical performance can satisfy to ISO4427-3 standard, at the same time, they can also comply to EN12201-3 standard, AS4129 standard, and the other international standard related to HDPE fittings.
The poly fittings for gas can conform to ISO4437-3 standard.
* Can HDPE Fittings Be Recycled?
A: Yes, they can, although the quality of the end product very much depends on the condition of the recycled fitting.
Of benefit is the fact that there is generally minimal material degradation during the fittings manufacturing process, meaning any fittings that don't make the cut in terms of shape or structure can be recycled back into future fitting types that will, indeed, conform to the required parameters; and even into other plastics products that are less mechanically demanding.
Recycling continues to keep the volume of material waste in fittings manufacturing at an all-time low.
* What's the packing method for the fittings?
A: For small diameter poly fittings dn50~250mm, our packing method is carton. The big diameter fittings dn280~dn800mm, they will be wrapped by PP bags. Big diameter fittings can also be packed by pallets or wooden cases.
SUNPLAST can do the packing as per customers request.
